The Scania European Committee condemns in the strongest possible terms Russia’s unprovoked and unjustified war against Ukraine.
We hold the Russian government responsible for the devastation and suffering caused by the illegal military invasion.
These horrific acts of war go against everything we stand for in our roles as union and employee representatives. Our belief in freedom of speech, freedom from fear and democracy is clearly not being complied with in this terrible war.
Our dear colleagues who are in the middle of, or near, the conflict have been forced to leave family and friends, their lives will never be the
same. Their health and safety is our absolute highest priority!
We want to express our great gratitude to our colleagues who are ready to risk their own lives for our, our children and grandchildren’s common freedom. The world would be incredibly much darker without everyone who stands up for and fights for human and democratic rights.
We can all do something.
